Avon Aqueduct closure postponed

The planned maintenance works at the Avon Aqueduct have been postponed until winter 2017/18 due to heavy rainfall and poor ground conditions on site. There is more information on the Scottish Canals Website.

Canal centre opening soon

Although the canal centre is currently closed, boats and rooms are still available for hire. The centre re-opens on Saturday 15th April 2017. Boat hire options include: Self drive, and Boat with crew You can also hire the Tearoom and Mel Gray Centre
