TOWN TRIPS
A short cruise enabling you to view Linlithgow from the canal.
Duration: approx. 25mins
Departs Basin: frequently 1.30pm-4.30pm
Operates:
Every Saturday and Sunday* from 4th April 2026 until 27th September 2026.
*Except FUN DAY on Sunday 2nd of August when other trips will be available.
Every weekday from 29th June to 7th August 2026.
No advance booking (first come first served)
Prices: Adult £6.00, Concession £5.00, Family (2 adults with up to 3 children) £18. Child (aged 5 to 16) £4.00, Under 5’s and registered carers – free.
AQUEDUCT CRUISES
A cruise aboard one of our 40 seater boats to the Avon Aqueduct – the longest and tallest in Scotland, where you may disembark for a fantastic photo-op.
Duration: Approx 2.5 hours
Departs Basin: 2pm
Operates most Saturdays and Sundays from 4th April 2026 until 27th September 2026 (exceptions are 23rd May, 28th June, 11th and 26th July, 2nd and 23rd and 30th August)
There are no weekday aqueduct cruises.

FALKIRK WHEEL CRUISES
A cruise to the world famous Falkirk Wheel, passing (but not disembarking on) the Avon Aqueduct, through the Falkirk Canal lock and tunnel, transiting the wheel itself, and then spending about an hour at the visitor centre.
Duration: Approx 6 hours
Depart Basin on boat: 9.30, return by free private bus, arriving back at basin approx 15.30
OR
Depart Basin by free bus 1230, return by boat, arriving back at basin approx 18.30
Operates: 28th June, 26th July and 23rd August

VINTAGE AFTERNOON TEA CRUISES
Vintage Afternoon Tea Cruise from the canal centre to the Avon Aqueduct. Traditional fare: sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, cake and savoury selection. China crockery and white linen. Bring your own bubbly.
Duration: approx. 2.5hrs
Departs Basin: 2.30pm
