School parties are most
welcome during the
season. There must be at least one adult, (no
charge) for every 10 children. All visits include the
boat trip, a visit to the Canal Museum and the provision
of worksheets.
Three types of boat trips are available :
 | The Town Stretch Trip
takes 30 minutes and the charge is £1.00 for
nursery school children and £1.50 for all other
ages and £2 for each additional adult.

 | The Quarry Trip takes 1
hour and the cost for the trip is £60
|
 | The Avon Aqueduct Trip
takes 3 hours and the cost of the trip is £180.

The
maximum numbers allowed by the Marine Safety Agency are
36 children and 3 adults on St Magdalene and 10 children and 2
adults on Victoria. If you plan to book Victoria, please ascertain from your local
authority that you are permitted to use an open boat.
Although there is wheelchair access to the tea room,
museum and toilets the boats are unsuitable for disabled
passengers. LUCS suggests a short reconnoitering visit to
assess the suitability of our facilities for your party.

All
charters must be booked in advance. Bookings are not
valid until confirmed in writing by LUCS. Please

of the canal, the current position and its possible
